What to expect from your sleep study
A sleep study records what happens while you sleep so the results can be reviewed clinically. OYASUMI provides comprehensive Level I and Level II polysomnography (PSG), with the study setup chosen according to the required pathway.

Preparation
We explain the study setup, timing and any preparation you need before the recording.
Overnight recording
Sensors record sleep, breathing, oxygen and other signals required for the selected PSG setup while you sleep.
Review & report
After the study, the recording follows the review process and the final report is released when ready.
Study types
Level I and Level II PSG
Both are comprehensive polysomnography categories. The main patient-facing difference is where and how the recording is supervised.
Attended comprehensive PSG
A trained technologist attends the recording and supervises the technical quality throughout the study. This is the traditional comprehensive attended PSG setup.

Comprehensive portable PSG
A comprehensive portable PSG setup can be used outside a sleep laboratory after appropriate setup, without continuous technologist attendance during the full recording.

How a limited Level III test differs: Level III generally uses fewer cardiorespiratory channels and does not include the full EEG, EOG and EMG sleep-staging signals used in comprehensive Level I and Level II polysomnography.
